What is ACIDB?
If you know what Animal Crossing is then the picture pretty much speaks for itself.
When complete, I hope to have every item from
Animal Crossing Community's item database in the program. Why am I doing this? Just
a reason/excuse to use the programming skills I've been learning in
college.
What can it do?
Once again, the image speaks for itself. But if for some reason you can't view the pic,
here's what's it shows for each item (where applicable):
The origin (where you would find it normally)
The price it sells for in you catalogue
The group it belongs to (I'm not sure what that's about, but I'll find out before I'm done)
The theme or series it belongs to
It's feng shui colouring
A picture (if available)
Whether or not you have it in you catalogue
Your code for the item (if you received it in a code)
Also: a list of all items marked as being in your catalogue
Is that it?
Not necessarily. If you have any good ideas for features let me know.
When will it be finished?
As of writing this, the Animal Crossing Community
site (where I get all my information) is down. So until it returns I won't be able to finish the database.
However, that leaves time to work out some bugs and add new stuff, so I'm not just sitting here twiddling
my thumbs. Hopefully this won't take more than a week to finish, but I'm notoriously lazy, so I make no promises.
